Seahawks vs. Vikings score: Live updates, Dalvin Cook injury news, game stats, highlights and more – CBSSports.com

Through four weeks, Russell Wilson was cooking up an MVP season. The Seattle quarterback was completing a league-high 75 percent of his passes at a league-high average of 9.4 yards per attempt and had thrown a league-high 16 touchdown passes. The Let Russ Cook movement was going about as well as possible.

Until the first half of Sunday Night Football, when the Vikings closed the kitchen. Minnesota controlled the clock with long, deliberate drives, keeping Wilson on the sideline for long stretches and also putting points on the board. Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison rushed 19 times for 78 yards and a touchdown, while Kirk Cousins completed 15 of 21 passes for 140 yards. As a result, the Vikings won the time of possession battle 20:16 to 9:44 in the first half, running 41 plays to the Seahawks’ 18 and staking themselves to a 13-0 halftime lead.

After halftime, though, everything flipped. The Seahawks went three-and-out on the first drive and the Vikings did as well — but they also saw star running back Dalvin Cook head to the locker room with an injury. Cook later returned to the game, but the Seahawks scored three touchdowns in 1:53 (two of which came after Kirk Cousins turnovers) to erase the entire halftime deficit and take a lead of their own, not even halfway through the third quarter.

Can the Vikings maker a comeback? We’ll be following that and more below as we live-blog the rest of the game.
